Only Municipality in Aklan to have Pilot Face to Face Classes

Nabas is more than blessed and more than lucky enough to be given a chance among 17 municipalities of Aklan to pilot for a face to face learning to be conducted at Laserna Integrated School. Just this afternoon, October 18, 2021, at around 1400H, the Regional Incident Monitoring Team (RIMT) composed of several sectors from the Region such as Office of the Civil Defense 6, DOH6, BFP Regional Office, Philippine Army and DSWD6 conducted an actual visit to Laserna Integrated School to monitor, check the area, make sure that all minimum health protocols are met and in place, Contingency Plan in times of unexpected problems that might arise.The LGU Nabas thru Mayor James V. Solanoy, MDRRMC Chairman committed to assist and support Laserna Integrated School thru the active leadership of mam Rosalie Dela Torre , Principal to make the pilot activity a success. He is also envisioning of allowing all schools of Nabas to have a face to face learning (if allowed by the Regional IATF and approved)Your Nabas MDRRMO supports Mayor James on his plan by sharing some of our lohiatics to Laserna Integrated School.We will :

  • Distribute individual portable thermometer per participating pupils from Kinder to Grade 3 with a total number of 248 out of 790 enrollees.
  • To make sure that safety protocol will be followed , Nabas MDRRMO will augment personnel for 2 months until the end of the pilot testing to serve as disinfector and implementers of health protocols in and out of the school perimeter.
  • We will share some of our PPEs so that teachers will also be safe in times of unexpected infection as part of SOP.
  • We will create a format in bisaya (Nabasnon) language a Health Declaration Form to be filled up by parents or proper authorities designated to make sure that Covid has no place and opportunity to attack again .
  • Lastly, we will commit our utmost and full support to Nabas DepEd for the success of this 2 month pilot testing so that we could now go back to our normal educational system.For Nabas, we will always give our everything.Let us help our educational system go back to what is useful to our children.Your Nabas MDRRMO will never hesitate or will have 2nd thought to help and serve you in as much as possible.
